SMIU was established in 1885 as the first Islamic college, became an academic institution in 1943, and achieved university status in February 2012 due to its excellent achievements. It is a recognized university located in the Serai Quarter near Habib Bank Plaza in Karachi.

SMIU Entry Test Result 2025
The entry test for BS Undergraduate Programs 2025 was held on December 6, and 8th, 2024. The test results were announced in December, and the merit list was released on January 23, 2025. Only selected candidates are included in the merit list. The merit list is also published in some local newspapers, so stay updated.
SMIU Entry Test Passing Marks
Students who don’t qualify for the first merit list can check the second list when it is announced. If your name is on the list, make sure to pay the required fees on time to confirm your admission. For Bachelor’s programs, students need at least 45% marks in H.S.C. (Pre-Engineering, Pre-Medical, Commerce, General Science, Humanities, Arts, or equivalent).
